All of the staff was VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE and helpful. The hotel was in a very central location close to restaurants and shops. And it was also not far from the centre of Brockenhurst as well as Brockenhurst rail station.

The location turned out to be marvellous, adjacent to transport links and centre of Brockenhurst. Luckily it was close to The Buttery, had pastries there when it was very windy outside.

We were pleasantly surprised by the charming, 17th-century building and its beautiful decor. Our room, although small, had a tasteful cottage style that made us feel right at home. The ensuite facilities were spotlessly clean and efficient. We particularly loved the gin bar, a true hidden gem in the area. The knowledgeable and enthusiastic waiter, Nils, provided us with a delightful gin tasting experience. The location of the hotel was excellent, with plenty of eating places and pubs just around the corner. we had a pleasant short stay and would recommend this hotel.

We think it's an excellent base for staying in Brockenhurst. The venue has best possible and cute location close to everything you need with great stuff.

We had such a cozy and memorable stay at the Thatched Cottage. The rooms were full of character and well-equipped with everything we needed. The hotel's gin bar, run by the knowledgeable David, was a unique feature that we absolutely loved. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made us feel appreciated as guests. The freshly cooked breakfast was a highlight, with no greasy food in sight. this hidden gem of a hotel exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to return. Brilliant value for money. Highly recommended!
